Qualifications
Must have the ability to Splice Coax and Fiber and ability and willingness to handle single span aerial span replacements and pole transfers. subdivision builds and MDU's. Must have ability to follow instruction from supervisors, work well with fields staff as well as with the admin department to ensure timely gig repairs and invoice processing. Candidate must be computer savvy with XL, PDFs, Google Earth, as well as the ability to quickly learn company data platforms.
Other Requirements
Computer and test equipment skills. Construction and outage response. Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Mobile area ASAP.
Job Description
Key duties of this role include solving technical issues, particularly for outage call outs.
Quality inspection for all aspects of aerial, underground and MDU construction and splicing.
Working closely with Field supervisors, field techs and sub crews to ensure all gigs are repaired and that all safety and quality standards are maintained
Tracking all work performed and updating company tracking platforms
Providing status reports to management
Assist Supervisors and admin team in updating PDF As-Built drawings
Engagement with other company departments such as Safety, Fleet, HR, etc.
All other duties deemed necessary by senior management
