Job Description
We are seeking experienced HDD Operators / Horizontal Directional Drillers to support high-volume fiber construction projects in the Phoenix market and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Operate HDD drill rigs (Ditch Witch, Vermeer, or similar)
Perform fiber and conduit bores in urban and suburban environments
Follow bore plans, profiles, and utility locates
Maintain bore depth, alignment, and required clearances
Mix and manage drilling fluids (mud systems)
Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Coordinate with locator, laborers, and supervisors
Ensure safe drilling practices around existing utilities
Maintain production and quality standards on fiber projects
