Job Description
Colonial Cable Services Inc. is currently involved in several large-scale FTTH deployment projects and is seeking dedicated individuals and qualified crews with telecommunications construction experience.
We have long-term project opportunities, including 3–5 year builds in Ohio with Frontier, Windstream, AT&T, and Brightspeed, as well as a 3-year AT&T project in Missouri and a 3-year project in Central and Southwest Florida. In addition, we have secured upcoming Brightspeed FTTH builds in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Indiana.
To be clear, Colonial Cable Services Inc. is not the prime contractor, and we are NOT a broker. We are a well-rounded, experienced subcontractor with a strong presence in aerial telecommunications construction and FTTH deployment.
Current subcontractor crews are averaging approximately $8,000–$10,000 per week per crew. Current in-house aerial team members, working as part of 3-man aerial crews, are earning an average of approximately $2,500 per week per individual team member.
Potential in-house team members should have their own basic hand tools and PPE gear. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights of approximately 30 feet using hooks or ladders and must be able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly. This position requires individuals who are reliable, safety-minded, production-driven, and willing and able to travel as project needs require.
