Pay
Hourly: $25 to $32 per hour based on experience and skill sets for starting pay. Initial 90-day and reoccurring annual reviews provide opportunities to show growth and experience to earn increases.
Qualifications
Install, terminate, test, label & document cables; Build, cable, and program equipment racks; Operate and test all types of audio/video and control equipment; Setting up Networks and Programming; Control 4 programming a huge plus; Service calls on current AV customers; Experience in Networking, Structured Wire, Audio/Video and Control Systems; Ability to read symbols on design / floor plan drawings

Synergy Florida is seeking an experienced Audio Video (AV) Installation Technician that has excellent customer service, knowledge of Control4 programming, and the problem-solving skills needed to assist our customers in the Central Florida area to receive their desired outcome from their home automation systems. Knowledge / Responsibilities
You will be performing on-site user training, installing Audio Video equipment, and programming networks at the client’s homes which includes but is not limited to:
-Install, terminate, test, label & document cables
-Build, cable, and program equipment racks
-Operate and test all types of audio/video and control equipment
-Setting up Networks and Programming
-Control 4 programming a huge plus
-Service calls on current AV customers
-Provide detailed daily reports in company software
Skills / Abilities
You will need to have Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills and be able to work quickly/efficiently while adhering to demanding quality and safety standards.
Additional skills you will need include (but not limited to):
· Knowledge and experience with hand tools and various power tools
· Work on a ladder on a consistent basis
· Lift a minimum of 50+ pounds on a consistent basis
· Work in extreme temperatures
· Flexibility to work hours outside of normal work-schedule as needed to meet company installation deadlines, and business productions goals.
