Drop Bury Crews – Pearl Connections, CO, MT, WY, NY
Pearl Connections is expanding its underground construction crews in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and New York. We are hiring experienced drop bury subcontractors to support coax and fiber installation projects using plows, trenchers, and boring equipment. This is long-term, high-volume production, not a short-term contract.
The Opportunity
If you know how to operate efficiently in the field, complete jobs safely, and maintain production standards — we want to talk. You’ll be working on underground drop bury projects including coax and fiber line installation, trenching, boring, hand digging, and restoration work. Work is steady, routes are consistent, and projects are ongoing across multiple markets.
What You'll Do
Perform drop bury operations using plows, trenchers, and boring equipment.
Install underground coax and fiber lines.
Perform hand digging when required by site conditions.
Follow utility locate markings to prevent damage.
Ensure proper cable depth and installation standards on every job.
Maintain accurate job documentation and production records.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
What We're Looking For
Experienced crews (priority):
Previous experience in drop bury or underground utility work (required).
Experience operating trenching and burial equipment.
Knowledge of coax and fiber installation and handling.
Experience with directional drilling (HDD) and missiles (required).
All crew members must have:
Own truck, van, or SUV.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Ability to climb ladders up to 25 ft, lift up to 75 lbs, and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions year-round.
Compensation
Competitive weekly pay based on production.
Corp to Corp employment. Steady, high-volume dispatch — no gaps, no slow weeks.
Long-term project stability across multiple states. Monday–Saturday schedule.
