Experienced Fiber Maintenance Technicians with Truck, Fiber Telecom Tools & 28 ft. Ladder to complete jobs. .
Job Description
Google Fiber Project. Long Term, Few Locations left. 6 day work weeks.
Technicians are responsible for the restoration and health of the fiber plant spanning from the HUT/LCP to the Customer NIU.
MDU Operations: For Multi-Dwelling Units, the boundary extends to the Customer Premise. Technicians are authorized to enter the premise to perform necessary testing and restoration to ensure service delivery to the end-user.
EQUIPMENT & PROFESSIONALISM
Technicians must arrive fully equipped and professionally identified:
Identification: Valid GFiber Badge must be visible at all times.
Vehicle & PPE: Professional work truck/van with Vest, Hardhat, Glasses, Gloves, & 4+ Cones.
Testing Tools: OTDR, VeEx Power Meter, Fiber Identifier, and VFL.
Repair Tools: Fusion Splicer (Core Alignment), 28ft Fiberglass Ladder, and Fiber Access tools
Please ensure that you have all tools, PPE, Fusion Splicer, OTDR and ladders required to be able to complete work orders. If you are interested in applying.
