Qualifications
*3-5 years of experience splicing fiber. *Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. *Possess valid documentation that is required to be employed in the US. *A good driving record is required. *Ability to tow a trailer. *Thorough understanding of terminology used in fiber splicing
Other Requirements
*Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, employees, etc. *Able to work in all weather conditions. *Ability to work a flexible schedule that might include nights and weekends. *Comfortable with heights and confined spaces. Having to kneel/sit/stand or bend for long periods of time.
Job Description
*Resolve, repair, and install fiber optics systems, and ensure they work properly. *Troubleshoot and resolve fiber optic problems. *Performs other related duties as assigned. *Daily documentation of installation, service, and repairs.
