Initial onboarding is approx. 2 weeks then work is assigned as it becomes available.
Pay
Compensation is dependent on work available - BAU, UG, Aerial and Maintenance. Terms are 45 days after invoice approval. Warranty on all work products is a requirement. Pricing can be shared after initial engagement.
Qualifications
Proven BAU and dark fiber expertise required for complex circuits in Texas.
Other Requirements
Must have own splicing and testing equipment, a reliable smartphone and/or tablet for reporting. Must have reliable connectivity in rural areas. Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation and deploy as the project requires. Eligible to work as a subcontractor. Insurance requirements are provided upon initial engagement, must be able to provide a valid COI. Safety certification and other related documentation is paramount and we do check references. MUST be RAD :)
Job Description
Sky Rock Communications is seeking experienced fiber splicers for active projects throughout Texas, full turnkey in some regions, and others are break fix maintenance, along with BAU. The projects are ongoing and clients vary.
Reporting & Software (Required) -
Daily use of Fulcrum and client required software.
Production reporting, testing uploads, and closeouts completed in-system.
System data is used for invoicing and payment.
Must be comfortable using mobile apps and digital workflows.
