Valid driver’s license required/Must have minimum 5 years' experience with cable plows, trenchers, excavators and loaders and underground electric distribution construction work experience/ High School diploma or equivalent preferred/Loading and chaining equipment on Trailers to DOT requirements/

The employee must regularly carry, move, push, pull, install, and/or remove tools. This position requires the ability to lift heavy equipment (75+ pounds). The employee must be physically able to safely operate a variety of machinery and equipment including shovels, rakes, sledgehammers, pickaxes, excavators, plows, trenchers, company vehicles, and other telecommunications or construction equipment.

Responsible for assisting crew with tasks as required to perform underground construction installation and repair projects i.e. hand digging, gathering and assembling material required to complete tasks at multiple locations, install or repair conduits, cables, distribution equipment and digging equipment operation. The position may require the operation of a variety of tools and equipment, assisting in preparing project sites for construction activities, and cleaning up and removing tools, equipment, and waste materials at the end of the project’s duration. The position also requires assisting other craft workers.
