Qualifications
You are required to have an established business entity and hold a valid license to operate in the assigned states. Must have qualified linemen, trucks, tools, and safety equipment to construct underground fiber. Must be able to supervise crews, read prints, and submit legible redlines/as-builts daily to our production team. Insurance requirements: Typical industry standards
Other Requirements
The subcontractor is responsible for supplying all necessary equipment, vehicles, and qualified personnel to safely and efficiently carry out the job tasks. They will be accountable for contacting utility locates, conducting appropriate daylighting of utilities, potholing utilities, and promptly reporting any damages or incidents involving utilities. The use of hydro-vac and excavator equipment is strongly advised.
Job Description
Utilities One Group is preparing for a large-scale fiber network deployment in the CA, NE, and SD markets, consisting of approximately 3,000,000 feet of Underground construction and 3,000,000 feet of Aerial construction over the next two years.
While permits are currently pending, we are actively identifying and onboarding qualified contractors now to ensure crews are ready once construction begins.
Scope of work may include:
-Underground conduit installation and fiber placement
-Directional drilling, trenching, and restoration
-Aerial strand and fiber installation
-Installation of vaults, pedestals, and handholes
-Fiber pulling, lashing, and basic network infrastructure work
-Maintaining project documentation and daily production reporting
