Job Description
A Fiber Installation Technician installs, maintains, and repairs cable systems for internet, TV, and phone services. The role involves working with cables and equipment to ensure reliable connectivity, as well as assisting customers with technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Setup -
Install and set up internet, TV, and phone services
Test connections to make sure everything works properly
Install equipment such as modems, routers, and set-top boxes
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting -
Identify and fix issues with signal, connectivity, or equipment
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades
Repair or replace damaged cables and devices
- Customer Support -
Help customers understand and use their services
Answer questions and resolve basic technical issues
Provide clear and friendly communication
- Safety & Compliance -
Follow all safety rules and company guidelines
Use tools and protective equipment properly
Ensure all work meets required standards
