Job Description
Fiber work
Pulls cables, such as Fiber, twisted pair, and other cable types, through conduit, above ceilings, through crawl spaces, and between floors.
Installs modular connectors for data and telephone users.
Uses cable testing equipment to troubleshoot problems.
Provides new users and existing users with cable and modular connections, and relocates fiber connections for existing users.
Installs user-end equipment, such as set top boxes, fiber modems, routers, and telephony equipment
