Qualifications

Contractors must be reliable, able to work independently, effectively self-manage, and maintain ongoing communication while building positive relationships with their clients.
Other Requirements
The contractor must have their own vehicle, personal hand tools, a 28-foot ladder, and the required safety equipment for pole work. A clean Background is required, along with excellent communication skills with both clients and the work team.
Job Description
Installation and activation of new and/or reconnected (aerial or underground) SDU or MDU (single dwelling
unit or multiple dwelling unit) coaxial drop cable from tap to the input of the ground block, splitter within a Charter
distribution box, at the utilities point of contact or common bond location on exterior of the customers address. The
installation and/or activations of all outlets connected to customer premises equipment (CPE) are included in this task
which may be pre-wired or post-wired outlets, coaxial or twisted pair, from the output of ground block or splitter
network location, within a Charter distribution box, to the CPE location. This task also includes installation of CPE for a
single play service (Video, Internet or Telephone). Internet may include the installation of a Charter Wi-Fi. This task
includes end-to-end signal and service quality checks, customer education on all equipment and services for the single
play install and/or reconnect. Installation standards are based on the Charter Customer Premises Network standards and
procedures. Workmanship quality will be measured utilizing the Charter TQA Program and telemetry and meter
compliance. Charter will provide all hardware and materials.
