Production work. Paid per completed unit based on the project rate card. Net 30 payment terms. Rate card released after NDA is signed.
Qualifications
Utility construction experience preferred. Crews must be able to work in all conditions and handle: pole removals, pole setting, brace installation, pole transfers, anchor installation, anchor removal.
Other Requirements
OSAH 30 preferred, OSHA 10 required. ATSSA required when performing traffic control.
Job Description
Experienced crews needed for large-scale pole construction work supporting fiber infrastructure builds.
Immediate openings in Southern West Virginia, with additional markets opening as construction progresses.
Must be comfortable setting poles in power and some hand digs when required.
This is long-term work with roughly 7 years of construction planned. Crews that perform will have the opportunity to stay busy as new sections of the project open.
Crews must supply their own trucks and equipment.
Most crews running this work operation with:
-Digger derrick / pole setting truck
- Pickup trucks
-Bucket truck
-Pole and anchor installation equipment.
Contractors are responsible for:
-Their own equipment
-Ground crew and labor
-Traffic control when required
-PPE and safety compliance
