The following is a list of many of the tools potentially needed to perform the work: Mini Excavator suitable for trenching, skid steer for material handling and backfill, vibratory plows, trenchless missiles, horizontal directional drill, plate compactor/jumping jack for restoration, hand tools, transportation of crew + equipment + materials.
Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced underground utility construction subcontractors to assist with ongoing telecommunications infrastructure work.
Scope of Work includes installation of:
• 1 1/4 inch conduit
• 3/4 inch conduit
• Telecommunications handholes
• Potential to pull fiber and tracer wire when job is completed
Work consists of trenching, conduit placement, handhole installation, backfill, compaction, and site restoration as required.
Requirements:
• Experience with underground utility or telecommunications construction
• Ability to install conduit and handholes according to project specifications
• Proper equipment and crew capable of trenching and installation work
• Valid insurance and ability to operate as a subcontractor
• Commitment to quality workmanship and maintaining project schedules
This is primarily a corp to corp subcontracting opportunity for established crews and companies.
However, experienced individuals with a strong background in utility construction may also apply and could be considered for a W2 position following an interview process.
Ongoing work is available for qualified crews and individuals.
