We offer a highly competitive starting rate of $32.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on your level of experience.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with proven experience in fiber optic splicing and testing, specifically using OTDR and Power Meters. You should have a deep technical understanding of fiber architecture, including aerial and underground plant environments, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
Other Requirements
Reliable personal transportation is required for travel to, from, and between various job sites throughout the Greater Denver area. Technicians are responsible for maintaining a vehicle capable of transporting necessary splicing equipment and tools safely to multiple locations daily.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Fusion Splicing: Perform high-quality fusion splicing of single and ribbon fiber optic cables.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Expertly use OTDR and Power Meters to test fibers and resolve issues quickly.
Site Management: Work in diverse environments, from residential backyards to mainline construction, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Customer Service: Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with residents and clients.
Documentation: Accurately document splicing results and site photos for project closeouts.
