Field Sup/Lead Tech Call for Salary - Fiber I/R Techs Average $1500-$2000/Week & could be more or less depending on how many jobs you complete. These are permanent year round routes
Qualifications
Applies to ALL roles! Fiber & I/R experience is required, Valid DL, registration, and auto insurance, Certificate of Liability, Strong communication skills (& leadership for sup role!), comfortable working at heights in all environments, basic computer skills.
Other Requirements
1099 independent contractor, truck or van with 28' ladder, PPE, and tools/splicer is required. This includes the supervisor role as well!

We are seeking experienced Fiber Install & Repair (I/R) Technicians for residential FTTH installs and service work in Waterloo, Iowa.
This is 1099 independent contractor work with consistent, year-round volume and assigned routes.
In addition, we are hiring a Field Supervisor / Lead Technician to oversee daily operations, quality, and crew support in the area.
Fiber I/R Technician – Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain telecommunications equipment with a focus on fiber optics
Perform FTTH installations, service calls, and drop work
Utilize computer systems for job assignments and documentation
Coordinate with dispatch/teams to meet service objectives
Follow all safety practices and procedures
Maintain a professional appearance
Perform physically demanding work, including working at heights and in various weather conditions
Field Supervisor / Lead Technician (Additional Role)
Oversee daily field operations for assigned routes
Support and mentor install technicians
Perform quality control and job audits
Act as point of contact between crews and management
Assist with escalations, troubleshooting, and field training
Ensure safety, workmanship, and documentation standards are met
(Supervisor candidates must also be capable of performing installs when needed.)
