Job Description
Seeking Highly Skilled FTTH Splicing Subcontractors
We are expanding our subcontractor network for an active FTTH build in Greenville NC & Raleigh, NC areas. We are seeking experienced, fully insured splicing crews capable of performing both aerial and underground splicing with precision, professionalism, and strong troubleshooting ability.
Open Roles:
Aerial & Underground Fiber Splicing Crews
- FTTH feeder, distribution, and drop splicing
- Aerial and underground splice case work
- Ribbon and loose-tube fusion splicing
- OTDR and light source/power meter testing
- Highly proficient in troubleshooting, restoration, and QC
- Must produce clean, accurate splice documentation
Requirements:
• Fully insured (GL, Auto, Workers Comp)
• Must operate as a 1099 business entity with EIN
• Must provide all own equipment, trucks, tools, trailers, and test gear
• Proven FTTH splicing experience (aerial and UG)
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality work with minimal oversight
• Professional conduct and communication
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Daily reporting and documentation capability
