Job Description
HDD Driller / Foreman – Utility Work
* Rifle, CO (Western Slope)
We’re hiring an experienced HDD Driller / Foreman for steady utility work based out of Rifle, CO. Looking for someone who can run Vermeer drills, lead a crew, and take ownership of the bore.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Operate Vermeer HDD rigs
• Drill utility bores (gas, water, electric, communications)
• Read prints and maintain bore accuracy
• Work with locator and crew to safely complete installs
• Lead a 3–4 man crew
• Handle basic jobsite planning and communication
Requirements
• HDD drilling experience (utility preferred)
• CDL or ability to obtain CDL
• Comfortable drilling in rocky conditions
• Able to work independently and make good calls in the field
• Strong safety mindset
Pay & Perks
* $28–$40/hr (DOE & qualifications)
* RV hookups available
* RV may be available for the right candidate
* Well-maintained equipment
* Consistent local/regional work (home most nights)
