Qualifications
Must be an experienced Cable/Fiber Technician for residential installations. Ability to carry and work with a 28-ft ladder required, along with good communication skills. Technician must have a truck or van with a ladder rack if using their own vehicle. Company vehicles available with a clean driving record. Fusion Splicer required (also available for rent)
Job Description
We are actively seeking experienced FTTH Technicians for residential fiber projects. This is hands-on production work performing FTTH installs and drop work while following all safety procedures. Technicians must work closely with dispatch and project teams to complete assigned jobs efficiently and meet service targets, while maintaining a professional image on customer sites.
This role requires physical, field-based work including climbing, working at heights, pulling fiber through conduit, and working in various weather conditions.
Scope of work includes:
Internet installs and Double Play
Production codes available for long drops (200ft+), bores, wallfish, and bury work (if performed)
Splicing is at the NIT only. Technicians must have their own fusion splicer (rental available based on availability).
Comfort with mobile apps for job assignments, reporting, and documentation is required.
