Experience is Required

CAT5 Construction Services is seeking subcontract aerial and underground coax/fiber splicers across Missouri. For the coax splicer, experience in mainline coax splicing, forward/reverse activation, pop, and documentation is required. For the fiber splicer, experience is required in splicing of taps and cases, utilizing multiplexers, splitters, and filters. A complete understanding of fiber documentation is essential.

Also, proper use of a bucket truck, with traffic control, is required. All aerial and underground splicing and activation must be in accordance with customer specifications, industry standards, and be consistent with NEC, OSHA, and DOT guidelines.
