$80,000 - $85,000 annual base salary. Bonus available All hotels and travel expenses paid. Company vehicle and computer provided.

Qualifications

5+ years of direct experience in OSP construction and or maintenance within the telecom industry with through knowledge of underground and aerial construction products/standards. Fiber and copper experience. Requires excellent communications. Highly organized and detail oriented. Self-motivated, must be willing to work independently. Strong knowledge of aerial placing, line construction. Valid driver's license CDL preferred.

Other Requirements

OSHA 10, Proficient Microsoft Office Products, valid driver's license CDL preferred.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Must take leadership role in establishing safety culture.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure all safety standards are met.
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of in-house and subcontractor construction/installation crews during the planning stages, walk outs, installation, construction, and final approval of all project related services including scheduling and inspections
• Confirm all necessary documentation and approvals have been acquired and in hand prior to starting the job
• Responsible for ensuring jobs are completed on schedule and that workmanship quality standards are met
• Address and get approval from client for all design and cost changes based on new design; communicate all changes to the client
• Acquire all permits when necessary
• Review and approve all contractor payment requests and invoices
• Ensure billing is accurately submitted in a timely manner
• Representing PTC on site walks or closeout activities with customers and permitting authorities.
• Attend client meetings as needed
• Coordinate close out and “punch list”?
• Visit job site locations on daily basis
• Make sure all PTC systems are updated correctly and timely
• Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the responsibilities of this job classification
• Must be able to identify issues that will cause delays and apply innovative solutions.
• Strong attention to quality construction practices and ensuring timely close out and delivery of the project schedule.
