Now Hiring: Directional Driller?Company: Ritchie Installation and Communications LLC?Location: Fort Wayne, IN and surrounding areas?Pay: $70,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience)?Pay Schedule: Weekly direct deposit
Ritchie Installation and Communications LLC is seeking an experienced Directional Driller to join our team in the Fort Wayne area. This position will primarily focus on road shots, driveway bores, and supporting drop burial crews with bore operations.
Key Responsibilities?• Perform directional drilling for road crossings and driveway bores?• Support drop burial crews with bore work?• Operate drilling equipment safely and efficiently?• Follow utility locates and project plans?• Maintain job site safety and compliance with company standards
Requirements?• Experience as a directional driller (telecom or utility preferred)?• Must be able to pass a drug test?• Must have a clean driving record?• Strong commitment to safety standards?• Reliable and able to work in varying weather conditions
Position Details?• W2 position only?• We are not looking for subcontractors?• All benefits available after 90 days?• Weekly direct deposit

Recognizing a shift in the industry, we transitioned to meet the growing demand for high-speed connectivity by becoming a full-service Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) contractor serving our local market.

Whether it's plant extensions—underground or aerial—or ongoing maintenance, we support all elements of infrastructure, including pole lines and underground conduit systems.

At RIC LLC, safety is our top priority. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment for both our employees and clients. We've partnered with JJ Keller to manage our fleet safety program, and we require all employees to be OSHA 10 certified at a minimum.
Our safety efforts go beyond basic compliance. Several of our team members have completed OSHA-recognized utility pole climbing and rescue training, ensuring they are prepared for the real-world challenges of the job.
