Position Overview
Experienced and entry-level technicians are welcome — full training is provided.
We are seeking reliable and motivated Coax/Fiber Installation & Repair Technicians (I&R) to perform residential and commercial internet installations, repairs, and maintenance on coaxial and fiber systems. This role is essential in delivering high-quality internet and phone services to customers and ensuring they receive strong, reliable connectivity.
Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and maintain Coax/Fiber systems for residential and commercial internet and phone services
• Perform installation and repair tasks including:
• Climbing a 28-foot ladder
• Drilling through interior/exterior walls
• Mounting boxes and equipment on walls
• Running cable through basements, attics, crawl spaces, or directly through walls
• Installing routers, Wi-Fi equipment, and performing full connectivity testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve signal or connectivity issues using meters and diagnostic tools
• Submit accurate job documentation and completion reports
• Document all work using job management systems
• Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and industry standards
• Work in indoor/outdoor environments, including heights, confined spaces, and various weather conditions
• Provide professional, courteous customer service
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Work truck/van or minivan with ladder rack + 28 ft ladder, drilling tools, safety tools, and a Viavi ONX 620 meter (Company-provided rental vehicle and tools available for qualified technicians)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer literacy
