Job Description
We are seeking an OSP Directional Drill/Bore Rig Operator to support underground fiber construction in the Atlanta metro area. This contract-to-hire role requires operating directional drilling rigs (Vermeer or Ditch Witch), completing bore paths, managing rods, tooling, and mud systems, and working with a locator to ensure depth and alignment. Responsibilities include potholing/daylighting utilities, reading bore plans, completing pilot bores and back-reams, and assisting with conduit and handhole installation.
Candidates must have at least 2+ years of OSP/fiber drilling experience and a valid CDL Class A or B. Outdoor construction experience and strong knowledge of underground safety practices are required.
