Qualifications
It is required that you have an established business entity and hold a valid license to operate in Puerto Rico. Must have qualified linemen, trucks, tools, and safety equipment to construct underground fiber. Must be able to supervise crews, read prints, and submit legible redlines/as-builts daily to our production team. Insurance requirements: Typical industry standards. We are looking for strategic partners (Owner Operator – no 3rd Parties).
Other Requirements
The subcontractor is responsible for supplying all necessary equipment, vehicles, and qualified personnel to safely and efficiently carry out the job tasks. They will be accountable for contacting utility locates, conducting appropriate daylighting of utilities, and promptly reporting any damages or incidents involving utilities. A vac truck is required, and you must have drill mats.
Job Description
Utilities One Group is needing telecom construction resources in Puerto Rico to support FTTH projects. We are seeking qualified and equipped contractors with experience in aerial and underground telecom construction to assist in these builds.
Scope of Work:
Support FTTH projects across Puerto Rico.
Perform horizontal directional drilling (HDD) for Telco conduit installations.
Complete aerial construction: strand, fiber placement, hardware installation, and make-ready tasks.
Set vaults and pedestals as required by design.
Place customer-provided mule tape as part of bore operations.
Supply own bore/assist pits and perform all required potholing before and during drilling.
Verify and monitor all utility crossings for safety and accuracy.
Additional placement opportunities may be available as the project progresses.
We only work with Owner-Operators – no 3rd Parties.
