We are seeking a skilled CATV Installation Technician to install, maintain, and repair Cable Television (CATV) systems.
The responsibilities of a CATV Installation Technician include performing site surveys, installing CATV lines, troubleshooting issues, and providing customer service.
Proficiency in handling CATV equipment, a good understanding of electronics, and strong problem-solving skills are key traits for this role.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong technical aptitude, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
· Installing and maintaining CATV systems in residential and commercial settings.
· Conducting site surveys to determine the best positioning of equipment for strongest signal reception.
· Ensuring that cable systems are properly grounded and installing signal amplifiers as needed.
· Configuring CATV systems settings for optimal performance.
· Inspecting connections and equipment for signal loss and physical damage.
· Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in CATV systems.
· Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries.
· Complying with safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
· Completing work orders and maintaining documentation of all installations, inspections, and repairs.
