Job Description
Now hiring experienced Fiber Optic Technicians, Splicers, and MDU Cabling Installers for a project in Wilmington, NC.
Work involves complete fiber-to-Cat6 conversion:
Installing and dressing fiber backbone (MPOE ? IDF)
Building IDF rooms with racks, patch panels, UPS, and switches
Pulling and terminating Cat6 lines to 124 apartment units and more project` once complited
Mounting and testing wireless access points (APs)
Performing Fluke and light-level tests, labeling, and documentation
We need reliable, self-motivated techs who can produce quality work and represent our company professionally on-site.
Great opportunity for technicians who want consistent projects with a fast-growing contractor 2 years experience in MDU, FTTH, or structured cabling
Must be able to read riser/as-built drawings
Experience with fusion splicing, light-level/OTDR, and Fluke testing
Able to install, terminate, and label Cat6 and fiber (SC/APC or LC)
Clean, professional workmanship; must follow safety and QC standards have reliable transportation
Bring your own hand tools and fiber splicer / test equipment (if applicable)
Work boots, PPE, and valid ID required
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
