Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and certified Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) to oversee and manage on-site traffic control operations. The TCS will be responsible for supervising Traffic Control Personnel (TCPs), ensuring all traffic control activities comply with state and local regulations, safety standards, and approved traffic control plans (TCPs).
Traffic Control Supervisor:
Valid TCS certification (Idaho state/ATSSA/CCA)
Valid flagger/traffic control technician certification or endorsement
Minimum 2 years of traffic control/work-zone experience, including crew supervision
Ability to read and implement Traffic Control Plans (TCPs)
On-site presence required for all active work zones under their supervision
Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving skills
Ability to work outdoors, in varying weather, and lift/move equipment
Valid driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record
Must pass background check, drug screening, possibly DOT physical if required
TCP Crew
Certified flagger/traffic control technician as required
Ability to follow supervisor instructions, execute TCPs
Ability to set up channelizing devices, signs, arrow boards as per plan
Work-zone safety awareness, ability to work around moving traffic
Willingness to travel/move between job sites if required
Physical capability to lift, stand for long periods
