Splicing Crews Wanted – 30-Day Copper Project - Los Angeles, California (Preferably LOCAL)
We’re looking for experienced copper splicing crews for a copper line maintenance & repair job. This is short-term (30 days or less) – not an ongoing contract – but requires specialized skills and certified crews.
What’s Involved:
Cut open manholes & weld shut after work is complete
Wreckout & replace copper lines
Splice all lines, tone & test
Traffic control at all sites
Full compliance with construction safety & quality standards
Requirements:
Crew must provide traffic control
Handle all permitting - LADOT permit required
OSHA-certified workers only
OSHA-approved manhole setups (blowers, air monitors, etc.)
Tethers for every worker in a manhole
Ability to staff 2–3 splice crews for up to 30 days
