Qualifications
Insurance & Bonding - Detailed summary of current Liability and Worker's Compensation insurance coverage, Proof of adequate bonding capacity is a plus. Total number of field employees dedicated to drilling and utility installation. A summary of key drilling equipment / Equipment Inventory. Professional references from past clients, along with a portfolio of relevant completed underground utility projects (including project scope, location, and dates).
Job Description
The ideal partner will be proficient and fully equipped to handle all aspects of underground utility installation, including:
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD): Efficient and precise drilling in various terrains.
Utility Potholing/Daylighting (Required): Safely exposing and verifying the exact location and depth of all existing utilities (using hydro-
excavation or air-excavation methods) before commencing drilling.
Utility Box/Pedestal Placement: Correct and secure placement of ground-level utility enclosures.
Fiber Optic Cable Pulling/Placing: Expertly installing fiber cable through new and existing conduit systems.
Conduit Installation: Preparing and installing necessary conduit for future use.
