Qualifications:
Valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation.
Follow directions from Field Crew Leader and interact effectively and cooperatively with crew members.
Comfortable working in right of way.
Locate and mark underground utilities or be willing to learn.
Understand the basics of fiber splicing or be willing to learn.
Capable of operating Vermeer drop plow machine or be willing to learn.
Demonstrate professional communication skills with both crew members and customers.
Basic mechanical skills.
Knowledge of and ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
Basic computer/tablet skills.
Ahere to all safety policies and follow OSHA guidelines.
This technician works in support of our customers to bury and/or bore underground, as well as, run aerial fiber optic cable to the home.
Must be able to successfully pass an MVR, background, and drug screen.
