Must be familiar with fiber residential installs and fiber residential troubleshooting as well.

WHITE TRUCK / VAN with commercial rack on top and with ladder 28 ft. on it as well. Fusion splicer, Fiber tools, Fiber meter. Must have valid Driver License / Registration / Insurance for the truck.

Fiber Technicians are responsible for installing and troubleshooting cable television and internet systems in residential homes and businesses. While specific Fiber Technician job duties can vary depending on the type of systems they work with (i.e., cable television, digital phone line, internet, etc.), general duties for Fiber Technicians include:

• Provide high level of customer service;

• Troubleshooting and repairing cable system infrastructure;

• Plan for installing data and voice cables for residential cable television and home router systems;

• Upgrading / Downgrading existing cable television and internet systems;

• Performing cable system maintenance.
