We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller/ Locator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites and possess a strong mechanical knowledge. As a Driller, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment to create holes in various materials, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the process. This role requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.
Responsibilities
Operate drilling equipment safely and efficiently to perform drilling tasks.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drilling operations.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on drilling machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Manage the transportation of materials using trailers, dump trucks, and water trucks as needed.
Assist in grading operations using graders and loaders, ensuring proper site preparation.
Utilize backhoe operation skills for excavation tasks as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks during operations.
Skills
Proficient in operating various types of construction machinery, including bulldozers, dump trucks, graders, loaders, and backhoes.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Experience with commercial driving is preferred for transporting materials on-site.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that may arise during drilling operations.
