Loose tube fiber splicing, mid sheath splicing, troubleshooting light issues, OTDR and Light Level, OptiTaps, competent at reading prints.
Other Requirements
Power Meters, Light Source, OTDR and Loose Tube Splicer. Also, references required and background check.

JDI Fibertech is seeking dedicated, dependable, and talented fiber technicians who are eager to learn, grow, and even consider starting their own fiber business. If you’re an experienced splicer with 3+ years of experience and want to join a company that values your skills and offers room to advance, we want to hear from you!

Required Skills and Tools:
• Loose tube fusion splicer
• OTDR
• Vehicle, splicing lab/van/cap, and ladder
• All splicing tools and standard PPE

• Show up on time – reliability is key
• Pay meticulous attention to detail
• Follow instructions carefully
• Strive for excellence in everything they do
• Have at least 3 years of experience: will be tested
• Are eager to learn new skills
