Job Description
• Responsible for estimating and planning various OSP / ISP fiber cabling installations
• Develop detailed cost for jobs from drawings and direct facility walk outs
• Review hours, material options, admin costs, labor provided for each scope of work
• Train in-house fiber technicians how to properly install fiber to include live splice cases and panels for installs and ring cuts.
• Supervise sub-contractors for underground and aerial placement
• Maintain day – to – day operations of the OSP / ISP fiber team on assigned projects
• Generate as-built drawings and close out packages
• Generate daily and weekly project updates
• Responsible for supervising and ensuring the completion of every project including material usage and billing
