We are seeking a skilled and reliable Splicer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for splicing and testing fiber optic cables in various settings. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality work.
Job Description
Splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables.
Read and interpret engineering work prints, schematics, and diagrams.
Troubleshoot and repair cable faults.
Perform aerial and underground cable work.
Install and maintain splice closures and pedestals.
Conduct OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) and power meter testing.
Document and report on work performed.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
