Job Description
CAT5 Construction Service is currently seeking subcontract horizontal drill crews in Austin and San Antonio, Texas. Offered is long term, year around work in one of the fastest growing markets in the country. This is an area where you can settle in for years to come.
The scope of work involves the installation of single or dual HDPE 2” or 1 1/4 pipe, pedestal, and vault placement with restoration. Occasionally, street cores and sidewalk removal may be required.

Underground subcontractors are required to provide all necessary equipment, trucks, tools, labor, and insurance. You must operate within a culture of safety and possess the imperative desire to satisfy our customers' needs.
Other responsibilities may include some of the following:
Knowledge of UG Construction Methods, Materials and Tools
Ability to Read Design Prints and Maps
Complete Understanding of Utility Locates
Quality Assurance
Ability to follow ROW and Traffic Control Permits
Safety Protocols
DOT Regulations
Damage Mitigation
Strong Communications Skills
