Milenium Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to oversee and guide our Outside Plant (OSP) construction efforts in the Pensacola market. This is a full-time, field-based leadership role for a seasoned professional who excels in ensuring project integrity, mentoring crews, and delivering high-quality infrastructure on time and within budget.

Position Overview: What You’ll Do
As the Quality Control Supervisor, you’ll lead field quality assurance operations, ensuring project execution meets Milenium’s rigorous standards for safety, quality, and performance. You’ll be the primary liaison for quality inspections and a key resource for the project management teams.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily quality control activities across multiple active job sites (trenching, drilling, aerial, and underground).
-Utilize Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to accurately locate and map underground utilities, ensuring proper placement and preventing costly damages during excavation.
-Conduct frequent site inspections for safety compliance and workmanship, holding teams accountable to NESC and OSHA standards.
-Lead quality audits and provide daily/weekly reporting to project managers and leadership on project compliance and site conditions.
-Collaborate with permitting agencies, municipalities, and internal teams to resolve quality issues and ensure project fluidity.
-Quickly resolve on-site issues, delays, or hazards, minimizing downtime and maintaining momentum.
-Champion Milenium’s “Nobody Gets Hurt” safety mission and ensure a proactive safety culture on all sites.
Required Experience & Skills:
-5+ years’ experience in OSP construction, engineering, or operations, with a focus on quality assurance.
-2+ years in a supervisory or crew leadership role, preferably in telecom or utility construction.
Proficiency in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR):
-Knows how to use GPR for subsurface utility locating and mapping.
-Understands antenna frequencies to select the right one for different tasks (high frequency for shallow conduits, low frequency for deep pipes).
-Can set up a scanning grid and systematically collect data.
-Knows how to identify and interpret data, specifically recognizing characteristic hyperbolic patterns that indicate buried objects.
-Has experience using GPR software to process, analyze, and generate professional reports and maps of all findings.
-Deep understanding of aerial and underground fiber deployment methods.
-Solid grasp of NESC, OSHA, and local construction regulations.
-Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills; confident engaging with contractors, local officials, and internal teams.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking software.
-Self-driven with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Additional Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-Valid, unencumbered Driver’s License.
-Must live within or be willing to relocate to the Pensacola, FL area.
-Able to travel daily to job sites; travel expenses covered.
-Comfortable working in outdoor construction environments for extended periods.
