Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Field Supervisor to oversee micro trenching operations in the field.
This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction supervision, excellent leadership skills, and hands-on experience with underground utility installation or micro trenching.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily field activities of construction crews engaged in micro trenching and related work.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, including PPE use and site safety protocols.
- Oversee and enforce traffic control measures for work zones.
- Monitor equipment use, site setup, and quality control of trenching operations.
- Manage schedules, track progress, and report project status to management.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve high performance standards.
- Resolve on-site challenges, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor materials, tools, and resources to ensure availability and proper use.
