Job Description
Lantech Communications LLC is a nationwide contracting company providing high-quality services for major telecommunications providers. We are currently seeking experienced Drop Bury Technicians to join our team on upcoming projects. This is a 1099 contractor position with competitive pay, steady workload, and opportunities for long-term partnership.
Position Overview:
As a Drop Bury Technician, you will be responsible for burying coax and fiber service lines from the tap/pedestal to the customer’s premises. Work includes trenching, boring, ground restoration, and ensuring all work is completed to company and client specifications. Professionalism, safety, and quality workmanship are essential in this role.
Compensation & Benefits:
1099 Contractor Position
Weekly Pay: $2,500 – $4,000+ depending on production/Per Diem: $150 available for experienced technicians traveling to projects
Referral Program: Bring qualified techs and earn bonuses
Consistent workload with reliable prime contractor
Long-term projects in multiple markets
Requirements:
Own reliable truck and burial tools (trenchers, boring equipment, shovels, drills, etc.)
Experience with coax and/or fiber drop burial work
Valid Driver’s License
Social Security Number or valid Work Authorization
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in the field
Commitment to restoring property to pre-work condition (sod, dirt, landscaping, etc.)
