Position: Construction Supervisor / Manager Cuyahoga County, Ohio
Job Description:
The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing field operations in Underground projects to ensure efficient task execution, safety compliance, and adherence to quality standards. Reporting to the Chief officer, this role involves managing field teams, providing guidance and training, and fostering a positive work environment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability are essential traits for success in this dynamic role.
Responsibilities:
-Supervise personnel and multiple teams
-Attend and actively participate in status meetings
-Conduct thorough tool, truck, and quality inspections
-Review project deliverables, identify risks, and meet client deadlines
-Prepare and update project timelines, providing regular updates to Market Managers
-Collaborate with contractors, permitting agencies, customers, and vendors
-Review construction plans to ensure alignment with budget and expectations
-Maintain accurate project status updates in operational systems
-Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork, billing, and time entries
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
-Must be knowledgeable and experienced Underground work or projects
-Willingness to travel
-Proficient knowledge of telecommunications engineering/construction practices
-Demonstrated experience in project management and client communication, with a focus on fostering positive relationships.
