Job Description
Abacus Digital is looking to hire an experienced Directional Drill Operator / Locator in Orlando Area (Kissimmee, FL) to install fiber optic cabling on private property for MDU / SFU neighborhoods.
Work Required:
- Perform Pre-check list for drilling rig and equipment.
- Operate drilling rig and all equipment related with the drill.
- Have mechanical knowledge of the drilling equipment and be able to perform routine maintenance if required.
- Keep drilling records for footage, material encountered, and depth of conduit / bore.
- 10 years of experience with Directional Drill / Locator is required.
- Experience with Hexatronic conduit is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Willingness to follow and give instructions and work as part of a team.
Company supplies drill rig, materials, trailer, & tools.
Pay is calculated by footage, paying $2 per foot of underground bore ($1 for operator & $1 for locator). Payment is every week on Fridays.
Work is available immediately with increasing number of sites available as the year progresses.
