Job Description
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Lineman to join our team. This position involves the construction, operation, and maintenance of overhead cable TV and fiber-optic communication lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be comfortable working at heights, and must be willing to travel and work in varying conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, operate, and repair overhead cable TV and fiber-optic lines.
Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment (after completing safety training).
Climb utility poles and perform tasks at elevated heights.
Assist with pole framing, placement of strand, guy wire installation, and anchor placement.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Perform tasks in accordance with company quality standards and safety procedures.
Ensure job completion to client specifications and support general field operations as required.
Carry 70lbs at times
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License, DOT Physical card (CDL Preferred) with a clean MVR.
Ability to pass a background-check (No DUIs or felonies)
Willingness to travel on short notice within the Southeastern U.S.
Available to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
Must be comfortable working at heights and in inclement weather conditions
Physical ability to lift, climb, and perform manual labor in a field environment
Bi-lingual candidates are strongly preferred. (Spanish, Portuguese)
U.S. Citizenship or legal resident status required.
