Job Description
We are currently seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Water Meter Installer to support our utility services operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, replacement, and maintenance of water meters at residential properties, ensuring accurate usage measurement and compliance with company and industry standards.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Prior experience in meter installation, plumbing, or utility work is highly desirable, though training may be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, replace, and service residential water meters in accordance with company protocols and applicable regulations.
Accurately read and document meter readings before and after installation.
Test meters to ensure proper operation and report any irregularities.
Conduct basic troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed.
Maintain clear and accurate records of all completed work.
Provide courteous and professional communication with residents during site visits.
Operate and maintain company-assigned tools, equipment, and mobile applications.
Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and local plumbing codes.
Notify supervisors of any issues encountered in the field, such as access problems or equipment malfunctions.
Requirements:
