Qualifications
* You must be 18 years of age or older. Authorized to work in the United States, Have a valid state issued driver's license ( Prefer a Class A CDL), Must have previous telecom aerial construction experience, knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques, have the ability to climb telephone poles, work in a bucket truck, work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet, have the ability to perform all duties in telecommunications construction IE pole transfers etc.
Other Requirements
Operate a digger derrick , use climbing gaffes and work in all weather conditions.
Job Description
What you will do as a Lambert Cable Splicing Aerial Lineman
You will install and repair aerial telecommunication cable, safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws and lashers, climbing hooks and more, safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derrick, excavators and more, will also be involved with directing traffic flow in accordance with local DOT guidelines, safely work aloft using climbing tools and ladders, work and travel multiple locations. Must always maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies.
