Qualifications
MUST be able to do Coax terminations, MUST be able to do Ethernet terminations, Fiber Splicing/terminations a bonus, underground burial of all three. Operation of zahn r300 plow and bore. Outdoor climate. Use of power meters for testing. If you cannot splice fiber we can teach you.
Other Requirements
Most tools are provided...small hand tools such as crimpers or drills will be required. Vehicle will be required. Must be willing to travel across the country.
Job Description
Underground burial of coax/ethernet/fiber on private properties (campgrounds) providing triple play services to Hospitality industry. Follow layouts provided, install, test and tune systems. Installation of hub and spoke pedestals. Installation of headend for system, installation of connection box at each site, some computer work. Burial is 6-8 inches, drops are 25-30 feet apart, average drop length is 100 feet or less, multiple drops buried in same trench. Properties range in size.
Lodging and Fuel per Diem are provided, bonuses for quick completions.
Burial, termination, set peds, and connection boxes gets you first tier pay, if you can do the fiber you add tier 2 pay, if you can do the headend you add tier 3 pay...etc....if you can do everything a-z you with get full tier pay.
Example-property-1...129 sites, all within 5 acres, all drops 25-30ft apart, all drops 6-8 inches deep, all drops avg. 100ft or less...32 Fiber terminations, 12 Fiber splices....1 week job....full tier pay is roughly $100-$150/site
Also if you come to do the job and you don't finish you will NOT! be paid anything....tired of half jobbers who get in over their heads and can't do the job or didn't understand the assignment.
