Qualifications
Determine fiber/coax tie points, ability to read prints and recognize equipment, determine MR issues, route and permit aerial and U/G plant as well as inside routing for businesses. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), proficient in cloud based file storage. Proficient with pdf editors and/or BlueBeam. Great communication skills required. Have complete understanding and knowledge of industry terminology. Travel is NOT required. Work is in Atlanta Area, other projects.
Other Requirements
Must have driver's license and reliable transportation.You must be able to stick poles correctly and determine MR issues.Use our database to determine permitting requirements for each city, county or state road you will need to permit. Must have good math skills.Must write legibly. You must be reliable and self-managed.You must dress appropriately and professionally and act and communicate professionally.We provide equipment, Surface Pro computer and work cell phone. Pass drug/background check.
Job Description
This is full time work in and around the Atlanta market.
This is not a project, it is forever work, so traveling is not required.
Receive and read emails and thoroughly understand what you are reading and what is required for a job.
Log into a cloud-based file server and download your jobs.
Use customer-based server to print out the prints you need for your jobs.
Read all information and resources and understand what you are doing, before you leave the house.
Call and set up appointments with businesses to provide ISP survey.
Complete drawings and learn to use pdf editor and/or BlueBeam for drawing submittal.
Write clear Scope of Work for each job you complete.
Fill out a Daily sheet for each jobs, that shows each task you completed - This is your invoice for each job.
Save completed jobs and upload to cloud based file server.
Reply to original email, that your job is complete and is ready for Quality Control.
Multiple jobs can be completed each day.
Each job pays multiple codes - Code for Routing a job, additional code for each foot of routing. Code for each entity that will need to be permitted to and additional code for each foot of permitting. Code for sticking each pole to acquire Make Ready information. Codes for routing inside of buildings to server rooms or racks. Codes for specialty permits, such as Railroad permits and Bridge Attachment permits, as well as Corp of Engineer and other water crossing permits.
You will be trained on how we do everything.
Your training period could last from 1 week to a month, depending upon when you are comfortable and we are comfortable with you going on your own.
We don't just give you a wheel, stick and computer and give you work. We actually train you on exactly how we need you to do everything.
You must have great communications skills. You must be reliable and professional. You must complete work that has been issued to you in the time allotted for fielding.
You must be able to recognize and identify fiber and coax equipment and identify who owns the plant.
You must be able to identify pole ownership.
You need to be willing to learn new software and latest and greatest technology, that we purchase, to make your work easier and more efficient for you to complete.
You will have people you can call and ask questions every day, if you do need help or need advice about a job you are working on. We worry, if you don't call and ask questions.
You must be able to get up in the morning and go to work.
You can work as many hours as you want to and make as much money as you want to, but this is not a part time job, so you will need to work 40 hours a week.
We will answer any questions you have on the phone or in person interview.
We have multiple positions open for this work.
You need to live or be willing to move to the South, Southwest or Southeast of Atlanta or be willing to drive there every day.
We also have other projects and other customers, that you will have access to do work on, once you are comfortable with this work and become proficient on this work.
