Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification with the intention of completing the OSHA 500. Training/Competency in Fall Protection, Excavation, Trench Safety, Competent Person, and Heavy Equipment Safety. Candidates must possess and keep a valid driver’s license. Ability to stand for long durations and lift up to 50–60lbs; work in various weather conditions. Relevant safety and job experience. Availability to start and typical schedule constraints

Working Conditions- Primarily outdoor construction zones under variable weather, heat, cold, dust, and noise. Long hours (8–12 hours/day), sometimes a standard 40-hour or extended 50-hour week. Safety-sensitive position; able to pass pre-employment screenings and drug tests.
Job Description
Maintain a safe working environment in underground construction projects by identifying hazards, developing safety plans, conducting inspections and providing training where necessary.
Enforce Safety Regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including OSHA standards for underground construction.
Maintaining documentation Keeping accurate records of safety inspections, equipment inspections, incident reports and other relevant documentation for daily operations.
Set up safe work zones following customer and state standards and project-specific plans. Oversee and ensure the safety of employees, and subcontractors.
Communicate proactively with team members and the public to ensure safe movement through zones.
PPE management Ensure the proper selection, use, and maintenance of personal protective equipment.
Work closely with site supervisor to plan safety aspects of the project construction, including lifts, hazardous material handling, and evacuation
