We are seeking a full-time Field Manager that will manage the Nevada office and occasionally travel to the Utah office, while overseeing its operations remotely. As a Field manager you will need to have recent experience working with Lumen or contracting for them, you should have prior management experience, and live in the Las Vegas, NV area.
You will interact directly with technical field employees who install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain telecommunications equipment. You'll serve as a coach and monitor the daily activities of your team to ensure they have the knowledge, tools and resources needed to be successful in providing the best service possible.
If you're interested in field manager jobs, know that you'll also talk with customers to make sure their needs are being met. Your responsibilities might include overseeing productivity, cost containment, time reporting, safety compliance, and facilitating employee evaluations. Teams typically include between 15-20 technicians.
What You’ll Do:
Willingness and ability to travel to the Utah office as needed
Monitor and manage technician productivity
Coordinate and arrange for appropriate staffing
Prepare reports on service calls and customer satisfaction
Monitor technical quality
Help improve deficiencies and build on the strengths of individual performers
Receive and resolve complex or sensitive customer complaints and appeals
Ensure that team receives the appropriate training required to be successful in their roles
Ensure all employees have the proper tools, identification, uniforms, communications equipment
Verify that work areas are safe
Work closely with recruiting in finding qualified candidates
Build strong relationships with the client
Grow the market
What You’ll Need
Must have a truck, van, or SUV available for work use
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisor position
At least 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including both copper and fiber
Experience working for or contracting with CenturyLink/Lumen
Must have I&R (Installation & Repair) and MDU (Multiple Dwelling Unit) work experience
Must be available to work flexible hours.
Weekend work may be required
Must pass background check and drug test
Candidate needs to have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Associates or bachelors in telecom or other technical focused fields
